The Pro-Kleen Hot Tub and Spa Algae Remover eliminates and prevents the growth of algae ensuring your water is clear and clean.
There are a number of reasons why algae forms in hot tubs, spas and pools including out of balance water, sunlight, warm temperatures, lack of circulation or filtration. Regularly maintaining your hot tub with as little as 5ml per week can prevent algae forming.

Directions for use:
- If algae is present add 10ml of algae remover per 1000 litres to the Hot tub and switch on the pumps to aid distribution.
- For maintenance, add 5ml of algae remover per 1000 litres to the Hot tub and switch on the pumps to aid distribution.

Yes, the initial dose would be 270ml and then 135ml weekly for your 27,000 litre pool.
Hello. I'm actually wanting to use this in a garden pond water feature - no fish or other life (none intended anyway). Two questions: my pond has an EPDM liner - will the algaecide attack that material; 2) Does your product colour the water at all (I want to keep the water clear). Thank you
Please use as directed, this will be fine with EPDM liners. If used as directed this product will not colour the water.
I know others have asked this but I still think the answer is not clear. Can the pool not be used again for swimming once this product has been in it? What is the point of using your product if you have to empty the pool after using it? There is nothing on the product that states this and I would not have used it if this is the case. We are trying to fix the existing water not waste it. Please explain.
Add near a water inlet 10ml oer 1000l water. Leave a minimum of 20 to 30 minutes so that it circulates via the filter. Brush with a pool brush before using your pool again. Do not empty your pool. Please follow the label instructions.
Can I use your produt in my fish pond?
This is not suitable for your fish pond. This will kill all aquatic life.
Hi can the water after been treated be used to water plants if I am emptying the pool?
It is not safe to use if emptied directly after treatment. But if left for over a week then the water could be used on your plants.
Can I use the pool with these chemicals in?
Yes, you can use the pool with the algae remover in. Just wait around 15 minutes after adding to the water.

No, this product does not contain copper.
What is the PH of this product?
The pH level is approximatley 6-10.
I’ve been using this product for 2 years now to maintain my pool and it’s great. I am winterising my pool for the first time this year and would like some guidance on how much to add as a long life algaecide to see me through to April. My pool is ~14000 litres can you advise? Thanks

Hi, I have a 10,000 litre pool and added 100ml as per the instructions last Sunday. Yesterday, I added 50ml to the pool. However, today the pool has green algae dust in the bottom again which forms a cloud when I brush. I have added another 100ml of your product this evening. When can I expect the product to start working? Or are there some algae's it doesn't work for, such as mustard algae?

Can this be used in plastic pools such as paddling pools?
Yes although you will need to stir the water to ensure it circulates properly.

I have a Bestway 15ft steel framed pool with green water. I purchased 5L of pool algae remover and added the stated initial dose of 170ml for the pool water capacity, however there as been no change in the water. Can I use the alge remover as a shock dose and how much should I add? Thank you Sue
We would recommend to add another dose of 170ml and agitate the water from the frame of the Bestway Pool. The Algae will turn white when it is dead.
I used 10ml per 1000 litres for my pool and the water is still green. Can I try the dose again, as I am not sure and dont want to put too much in and cause problems. Thanks
Yes, but leave at least 24 hours before adding the second dosage of 10ml per 1000L. Mix well.

The dosage is 10ml per 1000l so 100ml per 10,000l but this must be mixed well and left for 24 hours.

How long do I have to wait before I can use the pool after treatment?
We would advise you to wait 15 minutes after treatment.

Just to elaborate on the question above How long must one wait before using the hot tub or pool after using this algaecide. Do you have to wait every time for the algae to die and fully clean/rinse the pool or tub everytime this product is used. How about situation where where you are adding a 10ml initial dose or a 5ml weekly dose when using the product as a preventative?
Waiting 15 minutes before using the pool should be enough.
