The ideal total alkalinity reading is between 80-120ppm (depending on the chlorine or bromine you use). By adding small amounts of Total Alkalinity to your hot tub as required, you’ll help reduce limescale buildup in your tub, while preventing skin irritation and other side-effects that can occur when your water pH becomes unbalanced.

How to Use

We recommend applying Total Alkalinity Increaser before adjusting your pool pH.

• Before use, test your water to ensure applying TA Plus is necessary. Alkalinity readings should be between 80-150ppm depending on what chlorine or bromine you’re using.
• Use 30g TA Plus per 1000L water to raise the total alkalinity by 10ppm.
• Incrementally add the TA plus granules directly into your water. Do not add all the granules at once.
• We recommend waiting 20 minutes to 1 hour before entering your pool after application.
