You can use PatioSeal on concrete, Indian sandstone, brickwork, paving slabs, and any other stone surface. It protects against weathering, watermarks, grease, and oil, ensuring your patio looks like new for up to 10 years. In addition, a single 5L bottle can cover up to 50m², so it offers unbeatable value for money!
Unlike many sealants, PatioSeal is quick and simple to apply. There’s no mixing or diluting required – just spray it on right out of the bottle! Within a few hours, your patio, driveway, or paving slabs will be protected against rain. After a day, it’ll be completely protected against grease, oil, chemical staining, and more!
How to Use Pro-Kleen PatioSeal
Before application, check that no rain is forecast.
- Clean any dirt and debris off the desired surface. Also ensure it’s free of moss, mould, and algae (you can use Simply Spray & Walk Away for this!).
- Pour the PatioSeal into a pump sprayer.
- Spray evenly over your patio. Ensure you spray a thin coat to avoid pooling.
- Leave to cure. The PatioSeal will be rainproof after just 3-4 hours and will be fully cured after 24 hours.
- Highly porous material (such as limestone) may require a second coat.
The product is not suitable for use on tarmac or lime-based materials. Not suitable for resin drives/resin seals.

I found spraying this product & also using a long handled roller to help spread evenly excellent. Since applying the seal we have hade several heavy showers & my patio has stood up to the deluge & looks great.

Used compressor and spray gun to apply which gives more coverage lucky no rain for a few days slabs where very porous but 1 coat was enough now the rain just sits on top and beeds just like a waxed car very happy no harsh smells and would recommend.

The Sealant leaves a clear matt finish and will not change the colour of your patio. Please test a small inconspicuous area and leave for a month and check the colour in different weather conditions.

We do not sell a wet look version only the clear matt finish.
Is this suitable for porcelain tiles
No, you would require a specialist sealer for Porcelain. Please check with the manufacturer of your tiles.
Can this be used to waterproof a single skin wall?
No, this is not designed for walls.

Composite decking is usually already weatherproofed but you can always check with the manufacturer of the decking.
Hi what if I apply my first coat and it rains within the first hour of putting it on
Please apply on a dry day, it will not be effective if it rains within the first hour.
Can you use just a roller to put this on,
This can also be applied with a brush but not a roller.
Can this be used on a Travertine floor in a shower to impregnate and seal the stone. Also what is the best Cleaner for Travertine floor indoor and outdoor . Thank you.
This is not suitable for travertine floor tiles please check with the manufacturer of the tiles for the cleaner and sealer they recommend.

If using a brush it will not leave brush marks. It will leave a matt finish. it can also be applied with a sprayer.
What area will one pack cover
This will cover approximately 50m2 if used with a pump sprayer.
Can you use on newly painted pavers?
It was not tested on a painted paver. Please check with your manufacturer of the paint for the correct information.
I have problems keeping my patio clean due to moss and vehicle exhaust particles as I live on a busy road. If I use this will it make it easier to jetwash my patio instead of having to scrub it twice a year..thanks
If you clean your patio before applying the PatioSeal, making sure all moss is destroyed, this product will protect your patio once it has been applied.
Can I use the sealant on block paving after I have resanded the joints?
You can use this on block paving, but it will not seal over sand joints.
How long does this product last before having to re-seal
This will weatherproof your fully cleaned slabs for up to 10 years.
Will this sealant stop weed growth in between slabs?
No, it will not stop weed growth between the slabs.
I have just re pointed my patio with a brush in pointing compound, can I use your product straight away or do I have to clean the patio or leave it for a period before applying the sealer
Please check with the manufacturer of the pointing compound for the drying time. This will seal your patio. please make sure the patio is fully clean before applying the solution. Always test a small area first.

I have just had a sandstone patio laid with a resin grouting. Is your product suitable (because of the comments above ref “resin driveways”)? Thanks
No, this is not suitable for use in resin grouting.
If you need to apply a second coat when should you apply it (hours/days)
We would advise you to apply a second coat 24 hours after the first.

No. This product was not tested on a resin / stone driveway.

It's an invisible impregnating sealer.
What is the main ingredient that gives the product its protective barier
The product is silicone based which is the main ingredient to create a waterproof barrier.
Silicone based products tend not to be used these days as in the past they eroded in heavy weather conditions,they were replaced with silicates and floro cabons ,I have used your products and I am a fan .so my question is why a silicone based sealer .I have already sealed my patio around my shed and it took two coats but it repels very well so I'm a happy customer, just curious as I seal patios and block pave driveways and tend to stay away from silicone based sealers.

This can be applied with a sprayer or a brush. If you are using your weed killer sprayer please clean fully before adding the PatioSeal before application. This leaves a matt finish.
Some sealers say they are not suitable for Black Limestone - is this sealer suitable for Black Limestone?

I have white marks after the patio has dried i take it this is blooming and if it is how do i remove it
We would suggest wash off the affected area with a hose pipe or jet washer to remove the salt deposits from the treated patio. A salt neutraliser may be required but a small inconspicuous test area must be completed first.
After spraying pro kleen Patio seal and allowed the right drying time there are some white marks left on the dryad Indian stone how do i remove these can i apply another coat over the white deposit's?

I am just removing black spot from our Indian Sandstone patio with your Black Spot Remover, very successfully I might add, would applying the sealant prevent the Black Spot reappearing?
This is all dependant on the weather conditions and your patio area location. But by using the Patioseal it will slow down the return of the Blackspot.

Will this 'enrich' the colour of porous cement paving slabs? (The slabs are very pale grey when dry, but when wet with water they go quite dark)
This will not enrich the colour of your slabs it is a matt invisible sealant.
